Compared to the $125k TRX Final Edition, I think the RHO is a bargain. Less expensive than a Raptor with almost 100 more HP. I test drove a Final Edition TRX and it felt phenomenal however because of the price, it’s just unattainable for most people. The RHO is the same thing as a TRX with a little less power…and honestly I don’t truly need 700 HP to just drive to work and back. The RHO makes a lot of sense to me which is why I’m going to order one, and I know I’m not alone in thinking that.

This is one of the problems police have. It's almost like they just freeze in situations like these. What happened to shooting the tyres. They'd prefer to get on a high speed chase, that mind end up endangering lives. I did a research online in January. You overlooked mutlipe Demon 170s that sold at Mecum just over 2 weeks ago for 190k -220k. The only one that sold lower that weekend was the "soldier" demon that had a stigma attached to it. And, by the way, RACERX did not follow the Dodge required 1,500 mile break-in period as confirmed by his own RUclips videos and the Dodge Demon 170 manual. So, where are the people with engine failures who followed the proper Dodge 1,500 mile required break-in - ANSWER...NONE VERIFIED TO DATE! I am sure there are flippers out there who are desperate that are selling for less than market right now and interest rates are taking a toll too. And, Bring a Trailer typically will not agree to even list a car unless you agree to a less than wholesale reserve price because, in my opinion, they want to make sure that they collect there 5k on the sale. So people get caught up in that game, and then the sharks swim in and steal the car below the "real" market. Dont think dealers have not figured that out about Bring a Trailer - its probably there favorate site! You should read some of the comments on Bring a Trailer AFTER the sale - "if I knew the reserve was so low I would have bid." Even the 2018 Demons are down 30k, but thats the market today and not because of any defect with the 2018 Demon. Tthe speculation and misinformation about RACERX is getting old on RUclips. I realize its not your fault - but you are repeating that misinformation on your channel now. Names, documents, pictures - how many miles were driven to ensure a proper break-in period? Again, its 1,500 miles before you drag, not 500 miles which was a mistake made by RACERX. You know, stuff like that before you trash an amazing car no body else had the guts to build.

A direct quote from Dodge when asked about the cost of a Demon 170 sunroof: "A sunroof goes against the ethos of the vehicle, but we are making it available for customers who truly desire one. For those customers choosing a sunroof, it will not come cheap" In addition, I recall hearing Tim Kuniskis say the carbon fiber wheels were more expensive than the charge on the window sticker, so they expected a ceratin percentage to opt for an overpriced sunroof to offset the cost. I can't find a link to his statement, but he explained it just as I stated. The formal response from Dodge makes more sense since a sunroof isn't really a good idea in an eight second car.

Just got a load challenger scat pack plus in B5 for 45k otd. I think they were willing to deal because the car was built last July and banks are refusing to lend 100% of msrp on these dodges that were built before May. Lot rot issues and they’re not considering them new cars.

The demon 170 was a rush build....that many issues are quality control issues.

As far as rarity and price go, remember that Edsel’s are rare too. I would buy a stock Challenger, then bolt on the parts to make it a “tribute car”. Then you get exactly the same car for a lot less, and you can race it like you own it.

I think it’s important to remember that the demon 170 isn’t really a “demon”. The sticker says that it is a Dodge Challenger SRT redeye and in the options list there is a “demon 170” package. Banks are refusing to finance these things because they don’t see the value. Insurance company companies are refusing to cover these things because they don’t see the value either. It’s gonna be really hard for us to sell any of their cars.

Just get an older model Challenger, Charger, srt8. and you good to go. Old dodges were built to last, same thing with the new models up until 2022

They are more like fallen Angels. I would definitely buy the new Corvette z06 before those 6,000 pound cars that aren’t even made anymore. Or better yet do what I Do…. Stick with a Mustang GT!! They still make them. I love my 2022 Mustang GT. Would never buy a Dodge.
